The resident of Kyiv’s elite suburb Koncha-Zaspa Valery Muravyov caught a strange fish in Olhinska bay on June 11, that turned out to be a piranha.
“I have been fishing for 60 years, and this is the first time I have seen this sort of a monster,” Muravyov told Gazeta po-kievski daily. “Look at its sharp teeth – it’s trying to bite the metal mesh of the fish well.”
He said that specialists determined that this fish belongs to piranha family native to the Amazon. The fisherman said he was going to keep the specimen for the scientists
